How do I get the CAS number to apply for the Graduate Route visa?

When the Student Visa Compliance team report your course completion to UKVI, they will email you confirming they have done this, and the email will include your CAS number.

This CAS number is the one you originally received from the University of 久久精品 just before you made your visa application. Provided you have access to the email account it was sent to, you should have the CAS number. However, if you cannot find it, you will be sent it again after you have successfully completed your course.

When will the university report my successful completion?

After the Progression and Awards Board (PAB) is held, it is advertised it may take up to 10-working days for the result to be published.

After it is published, it is advertised it may take up to 10-working days for the Student Visa Compliance team to report your successful course completion to UKVI.

Although in most situations the results will be published and then reported in less than 10-working days, we appreciate in some cases you may have a short time remaining on your visa and would need this process actioned quicker. In this situation, you may contact your faculty regarding the release of your result and the Student Visa Compliance team regarding how quickly they will notify UKVI.

I was awarded a postgraduate certificate/diploma, can I apply for the Graduate Route visa?

Students are only eligible for the Graduate Route visa if they complete a course resulting in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

A postgraduate certificate / diploma granted as an exit award in your postgraduate course is not the same as the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) – they are both awards of teaching courses.

I have changed my programme, can I still apply for the Graduate Route visa?

A change of course in your programme should not prevent you from being eligible for the Graduate Route visa provided you are able to successfully pass your degree-level course, do not receive an exit award and completed the course in the specific period of time required. Can I bring my dependants after I apply for the Graduate Route visa?

A student can only bring their dependants with them onto the Graduate Route visa if they were already a dependant on the main applicant’s Student visa. The only exception is a child born in the UK during the main applicant’s permission as a student and is now applying for or has been granted permission on the Graduate Route visa.
