The information below is designed to help finalists (current students in their final or only year) to make the most of the support and resources available to you as you begin to prepare for the end of their studies.
Finalists have a lot to think about and many of you may also be juggling your studies with work and family commitments. We want to make things easier for you and to prepare you for the ways you can continue to benefit from your membership of the University community of staff, students and alumni.
Your wellbeing
The Student Wellbeing Team offers a range of mental health, wellbeing, disability and dyslexia support to help you achieve your full personal and academic potential, including one-to-one counselling, group workshops and , a safe, anonymous online community where you can connect with others and share how you’re feeling. Togetherall provides 24-hour online mental health which you can continue to access this service for six months after graduation.
Preparing for exams
Our dedicated Academic Support Team are here to support and prepare you for the Exam and Assessment period with specialist workshops, extended one-to-one appointments and drop-ins. You can also access a range of articles designed to help you develop your academic skills.
Your personal exam timetable can be viewed on the Student Portal by clicking on the 'Timetable' quick link and selecting 'My Timetable' and the appropriate exam weeks or via the 久久精品 Mobile app.

Your Results
We aim to publish all student results letters on the Student Portal within 10 working days of the Progression and Award Board (PAB) meeting.
Although your results will not be posted to you, it is important to update your contact details as they will be printed on student letters. This is where your final certificate and transcript are posted, and (if applicable) is a requirement of your student visa.
Your results letter(s) will continue to be available on the Portal for up to 90 days following completion of your studies.
Your official documents
An academic transcript is a record of your academic achievement whilst studying at the University and includes a breakdown of modules and results. You will receive a final and official academic transcript with your certificate upon graduation.

The University of 久久精品 Citizens Advice Bureau can provide you with free debt advice and after you join the alumni community, you can also get in touch with your local Citizens Advice Bureau.
IT, library, and e-mail access
To avoid library charges, you will need to return any library loans when you complete your studies. You can return most items by self-return via one of the main campus libraries. For more information, visit our book return page.
Your IT accounts will be automatically disabled 90 days after you have completed your studies. It’s much easier to back up and delete your work, uninstall software from your devices and let people know your new email address while still at the university. Our Leaving the University page will walk you through the steps needed to do this.
After this 90-day period, you will be unable able to access the same e-resources available to you as a student. However, the Library Service has compiled .
Graduation

Staying in the UK
If you are an international student, and you want to stay in the UK to work or undertake further study, you will need to apply for a new visa.
The International Student Advice Service provides free and confidential immigration advice to University applicants and students. Recent graduates may also be eligible to use this service. Please see our guidance on accessing the service for more information.

You might find that completing a further course will enhance your career options. Also, if you really enjoy your subject, progressing to the next level will allow you to deepen your knowledge and specialise in certain aspects of your field.

International students will need to consider their visa options and we recommend you start planning as soon as possible.

The Employability and Careers Service can help you gain the confidence, skills and experience to achieve your career ambitions. You receive support with CVs, job applications, careers fairs, internships, mentoring, graduate jobs, mock interviews and more. This service is open to current students and recent graduates (those who graduated in the last two years).
Thinking of starting or developing a business? The University's Generator is a centre for business and social enterprise which can help students and recent graduates develop ideas via workshops, mentoring, and other financial and non-financial support.
You are also encouraged to , the University’s online community for students, staff and alumni. Here you can broaden your professional networks, seek career insights, and receive e-mentoring from a 久久精品 graduate in an industry that interests you.
Joining the alumni community
You will automatically join the alumni community – a global network of more than 250,000 former students – as soon as your student status has come to an end (90 days after you receive your results). This membership is free and lifelong. There’s nothing that you need to do in advance of joining, except update your contact details via the Student Portal when prompted during your final year.
