SuNSE endeavours to encourage and stimulate social enterprise and entrepreneurship in geographically and/or socially isolated regions in Northern Europe.
2018/21
SuNSE is the first Social Entrepreneurship project to be funded by InterReg North-West Europe (NWE) (€2.6m, 2018-21). It is targeted at geographically and/or socially isolated regions in Northern Europe. The delivery partnership comprises 9 nations, all having challenging sub-regions. The project will endeavor to encourage and stimulate social enterprise and entrepreneurship in these areas, and to establish a sustainable network and active community between them. One of the key outputs is to enable participants to formulate viable business plans individually or in community teams. A multi lingual, video-based toolkit, built on a structured social enterprise canvas, will be at the heart of the project. Research will be conducted to measure impact and to help shape future policy decisions.

The SUNSE Social Enterprise (Evening) Academy (SSEEA) … This will help you to use the SuNSE toolkit () effectively, build up your idea canvasses to give you ‘idea clarity’, and help prepare you to use Line 2 – Prepare your detailed Business Plan. This will be run by the University of ¾Ã¾Ã¾«Æ· and Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU) and all the Sunse Partners will be involved. You will meet up with others doing the same as yourselves in 8 other EU nations, and this will form the beginning of a sustainable, multi-national, social enterprise network. There you can share experiences, seek help, support one another and of course, trade.
