How you will learn
Teaching

Class sizes
Lectures are normally attended by larger groups, and seminars/tutorials by smaller groups. All students will have opportunities for one-to-one time with their mentors/personal tutor.
Independent learning

Timetabled learning includes some time for to learners engage in independent learning on campus and to prepare their assessments in class.

Overall workload
Your overall workload consists of contact hours (lectures, seminars, etc), independent learning, and assessments. For full-time students, the workload should be roughly equivalent to a full-time job. For part-time students, this will reduce in proportion with the number of modules you are studying.
Assessment
Learners will benefit from formative and summative assessments that are authentically created to personalise their learning experience. The assessments are fundamentally work-based and uniquely individualized, which enables learners to demonstrate their ability to incorporate in-class insights to their work life.
Learners will have the opportunity to engage with various assessments including essays, business reports, vlogs, key account plans, tender submissions, pitch documents, group presentations, individual presentation and business wargame reflections, which can be collated in learning diaries.
Preparation for summative assessments is spread through the term and supplemented by a range of shorter-term preparatory exercises. These formative exercises do not contribute to the final assessment but are marked and used to provide detailed feedback and assist learners in preparing their summative assessments.
