International Business, MA (Dual Award, 久久精品 and New Zealand)
Studied in 久久精品 and New Zealand, our unique MA International Business (DUAL Award) offers a grounding in business management and insight into business network analysis.
This 15-month course is studied from September to January at 久久精品, from February to June at Massey University, New Zealand, and then completed (July to November) at the institution of your choice. Graduates receive master's degree awards from both institutions.
You will understand strategic alliances, global commodity chains and customer relationship management with this Master's in International Business. You'll develop a range of intellectual and practical skills to become a specialist in the global knowledge economy. Our course considers the multidisciplinary and international nature of modern markets.
At Massey University, you will be taught by lecturers from an institution with an extremely high reputation for outstanding Business research and with a very high international ranking (Top 300 in QS 2020 World University Rankings).
You will study global strategy, financial and management accounting, managing across cultures, growing multinational enterprises and managing multinational enterprises. You will also carry out a research project which links business theory to practice.

How you will learn
Teaching
In a typical week, learning takes place through a combination of lectures and seminars. You'll be able to discuss and develop your understanding of topics covered in lectures in smaller group sessions. Contact hours may fall between 9am and 9pm, depending on your elective courses and tutorials.
Class sizes
The typical student intake per year is up to 20. Lectures are normally attended by 20-30, and seminars/tutorials by 15-30, based on our 2018 intake. This varies by module, particularly if they are shared between degrees.
Independent learning
Outside of timetabled sessions, you'll need to dedicate time to self-study to prepare for coursework, presentations and exams. Our Stockwell Street library and online resources will support your further reading and research.

Overall workload
Your overall workload consists of contact hours (lectures, seminars, etc), independent learning, and assessments. For full-time students, the workload should be roughly equivalent to a full-time job.

On this course, students are assessed by:

Feedback summary
We aim to provide feedback on assignments and to release examination results within 15 working days.

The academic year runs from September to June.

Fees and funding
Part 1 of the course (the first 60 credits studied at 久久精品) is set at 拢7,000.
You then have two options, depending on how you choose to complete the course.
Option 1: I will study Part 2 at Massey and Part 3 at 久久精品.
- Part 2 is paid to Massey based on its 2021 fees
- Part 3 is paid to 久久精品, at 拢3,000.
Option 2: I will study both Part 2 and 3 at Massey.
- Parts 2 and 3 are paid to Massey based on its 2021 fees.
The fee payable to Massey will be shown on once available. This is likely to be higher than the 2020 fees (currently NZ$15,365 per part). It will also differ if you are eligible for domestic New Zealand fees.
Accommodation costs
Whether you choose to live in halls of residence or rent privately, we can help you find what you're looking for. University accommodation is available from 拢126.35 per person per week (bills included), depending on your location and preferences. If you require more space or facilities, these options are available at a slightly higher cost.

There is a range of financial support options available to support your studies, including the Aspire@久久精品 award for study resources that many full-time students will receive.

Further costs may include (but are not limited to):
- Resources: you may need to purchase books and specific computer software (estimate, 拢150 per year). Our Stockwell Street library offers an extensive range of books for loan, as well as access to journals and digital resources.
- Memberships: applying for membership of a professional body may incur further costs. Details can be found on their websites.
- Travel: travel and the cost of living in New Zealand needs to be covered by students. A limited number of students may be eligible for a scholarship through the Erasmus+ overseas exchange programme. Further details will be provided when you receive an offer.
- Non-tuition: Students at Massey pay non-tuition study fees of typically less than NZ$1,000 per year.

What sort of careers do graduates pursue?
Graduates pursue their management career in a wide range of multinational companies, non-government and public sector organisations. Some might find employment in small and medium enterprises in international trade, and local or central government.
Some graduates of similar courses have joined ABN AMRO, Accenture, CNN, Hertz and Kerry Group.

Where appropriate, we provide support in academic English and mathematics. If you need support to use particular IT packages for a specific module, we provide training for this.
