Our communities
Alumni communities provide opportunities for alumni to network, socialise and collaborate based on their interests – and there are many that you can join today.
Global Majority Alumni Community
The Global Majority Alumni Community (GMAC) is a vibrant and inclusive network dedicated to the voices and experiences of our global majority alumni.
About GMAC
The term ‘Global Majority’ reflects our commitment to inclusivity, recognising that individuals from Black, Asian, and other ethnic groups constitute the majority on a global scale. With GMAC, we will celebrate this diversity and strive to create a space that is both inclusive and impactful.
We understand that all collective terms have limitations and can be problematic. No single term can perfectly capture the diversity of experiences and identities within our community. We are committed to ongoing consultation with our alumni and will continue to consider alternatives as language and understanding evolve.
Our mission
Our mission is to foster a sense of belonging and collaboration among our alumni. Through events, projects, and dialogues, we aim to highlight the achievements of our global majority alumni, while also laying the groundwork for initiatives informed by their experiences. Our community is not just about celebration; it's about taking action and inspiring change.
